Get into Genes is a free, hands-on, curriculum linked workshop for secondary school students, designed to explore the real-life applications of science to food and fibre production.
The Get into Genes education program comprises a growing suite of science and technology workshops, each designed to meet the needs of Victorian teachers and students through strong links with the VCAA curricula. Workshops use fun, hands-on activities to demonstrate key concepts, and set curricula material within real-life examples of bioscience research and industry applications.
